Event Description

The Bay Area Coalition of Welcoming Congregations, along with partner organizations, are planning statewide interfaith worship services on Monday, November 2, 2009 to commemorate the one year anniversary of the day many of our hearts were broken with the passage of Proposition 8. The purpose of the services is to call our community together for prayer and reflection on our role to continue to struggle for marriage equality in California as well as stand in solidarity with those in the state of Maine and Washington who will also be engaging in a battle at the ballot box to keep same-sex marriage legal there. Please plan on attending the service in your area
