Orange County Equality Coalition
Orange County Equality Coalition (OCEC) is an organization comprised of an extremely diverse group of individuals who are united by their belief in equality and their desire to effect positive change in their community.
Drawing from the varying talents and inspirations of its members, OCEC can be found marching/rallying/protesting, filing legal briefs, holding an interfaith conference, collaborating with other OC groups, supporting a local highschool production of RENT against bigotry, filming a PSA for marriage equality, hosting guest speakers like Lt. Dan Choi, carpooling to local and statewide LGBT events, holding a storytellers workshop, reaching out to our county through tabling and community service, hosting art shows- potlucks- presentations and picnics. In fact, OCEC can often be found doing several of these things within any given week.
OCEC is very busy, and we like it that way.
